Atletico Madrid president Cerezo said We are clear Joao Felix is on loan at Barcelona and if he does not want to continue he will come back to us.
Cerezo added that if he came back other teams might be interested.
Felix has been in fine form for Barcelona since the arrival of the summer after a tense time at Atletico. The Portuguese is Barca second highest goalscorer with six goals and three assists.
Barcelona are reportedly keen to keep Felix on loan for another year when his current contract expires in the summer.
However Atletico could insist on a permanent transfer for their players. Rojiblancos have paid 7 127 million to sign the Portuguese from Benfica in 2019. While he is no longer worth much Atleti could insist on getting a big share of what they paid to sell.
Felix has endured a strained relationship with Atleti manager Diego Simeone and it explains why he was sent on loan for the second time despite signing a large sum of money.
