Chelsea have been linked with an interesting move for Karim Benzema who is reportedly keen to leave Al Ittihad. The Blues are also said to be considering Roberto Firmino who is thought to be open to leaving Al Ahli.
Correspondent Ben Jacobs wrote on Twitter that Karim Benzema departure from Al-Ittihad in January was due to contempt.
The move to Man United was rejected. And there is no approach from Chelsea yet. They still decide internally what they want to do with the striker.
The situation with Roberto Firmino is a little different. Al-Ahli is happy that he was loaned out for the right offer.
Chelsea are said to be looking for a new striker. Victor Osimhen is not involved this winter Ivan Toney is too expensive so signing either world class player this season either Benzema or Firmino is an interesting option.
