Barcelona could miss out on trying to bring Joao Felix back to the club on loan in the 2024/25 season.
La Blaugrana have completed the signing of Felix on a season long loan from Atletico Madrid on the final day of the summer transfer window.
Los Rojiblancos have confirmed their decision to extend Felix's contract ahead of the move as they remain open to his long term place in Madrid.
The Portugal international has shown his mettle in Catalonia but he is still inconsistent with Barcelona.
A report from Diario Sport claims that Barcelona will make an immediate offer to bring Felix back on loan next summer with possible purchase terms included for 2025.
However although Barcelona need a flexible financial solution to this situation the latest update from Relevo claims that Atletico will reject any bidding that offers a direct loan.
Atletico may be open to a loan move with a 15million loan option and a buy out option but they will not accept any extension from Barcelona.
