After tests were conducted on Lamine Yamal's injury, the Spain national team have decided to allow him to return to Barcelona.
Lamine Yamal leaves the concentration of the Spanish National Team after being evaluated by the medical services of the Royal Spanish Football Federation and determining that he will not be able to participate in the next two qualifying matches for the Euro 2024 that will pit Spain against Scotland in Seville and against Norway in Oslo, a statement from the Spain FA said.
According to Cope's Helena Condis, Spain called up the teenager despite the injury because they wanted him to play a third game senior international game which would rule out the possibility of him playing for Morocco forever.
Barca already diagnosed the player with a hip injury, but Spain insisted on taking a look at the player themselves. Lamine Yamal seen limping while departing for international duty.
Yamal has featured in 11 games for Barcelona this season. He's started five of those games and scored once while contributing two assists.
