Man United will launch their opening bid to sign Mason Mount from Chelsea later this month, claims The Telegraph.
The Red Devils are going to offer £50m for the services of the English midfielder.
Mount has already reportedly agreed personal terms with Man United, who aim to get the deal done soon – so that the player can join pre-season training in July.
Chelsea, however, might not be happy with the £50m offer – as they’re rumoured to value him at over £70m.
Mount was recently asked about links to the Red Devils in the Formula One Spanish GP, but refused to give away too much about it.
He is reportedly leaning towards a move to Old Trafford after having rejected three contract offers from Chelsea in the past year.
The 24-year-old midfielder made 35 appearances for the Blues last season, scoring three goals and providing four assists.
