The Telegraph reports that Cole Palmer is likely to be offered a new Chelsea contract soon. No new deal is currently being negotiated but the Blues are expected to offer the England international a deal that reflects his status as the club best player.
There is no rush to decide on a deal as the striker is focused on ending the season in the best possible way.
Palmer current contract expires in 2030 so the new deal is not about protecting his future at Bridge but about rewarding him for his performances this season.
The 21-year-old currently earns 80.000 a week. He has scored 13 goals and provided eight assists in 24 Premier League appearances for the Blues this season.
